Training
Training is a key part of Sam’s development as he transitions from karting into circuit racing.
The focus is on building physical conditioning, routine, and discipline to support on-track performance, consistency, and long-term progression. Training is approached as part of the racing process — not as a separate activity.
What Training Covers
Training at this stage focuses on building a well-rounded foundation, including:
• General strength and conditioning
• Cardiovascular fitness and endurance
• Core stability and posture
• Mobility and flexibility
• Injury prevention and recovery habits
The aim is to support racing demands while developing sustainable habits that carry through future stages.
Structure & Routine
Training is approached with consistency and structure in mind, forming part of a broader routine that supports racing preparation.
Sessions are planned around on-track commitments, recovery, and school requirements, with an emphasis on balance, repeatability, and steady improvement.
Training as Part of Development
Training is not treated as a shortcut or a standalone solution.
It is part of a long-term development approach — supporting resilience, focus, and preparation as racing experience grows. The emphasis remains on doing the fundamentals well, consistently, and over time.
